The Bakersfield Municipal Airport is owned by the City of Bakersfield. The airport is home to over 100 general aviation aircraft.
Bakersfield Municipal Airport is located approximately 3.5 miles south of the downtown area of Bakersfield. Union Avenue provides the most direct access to the airport.
The airport is approximately 200 acres in size. The airport is certified under Federal Aviation Regulations Part 139 which governs land-based airport operations.
